Happy World Public Transport Day on April 17

Proclaimed by the International Association of Public Transport (UITP), World Public Transport Day on April 17 is being celebrated for the first time this year under the theme “One Day, Millions of Journeys” to highlight the importance of public transport in our lives.

Under the AKIA brand, we have been putting the philosophy behind this global theme into practice in our production processes since our founding, guided by our “Transportation is our Passion” principle.

Today’s cities require a safe, reliable, and seamless transportation ecosystem. In public transportation networks that facilitate the daily mobility of millions of people, a robust infrastructure is no longer an option it is a necessity.
